Fun Pictures

For no reason but I love my kids am I sharing these pictures. The one of Ashley is part of the "I have blackmail for when you are older" folder. For awhile now Ashley comes home and decides she doesn't always want to wear clothes - but the slippers add a little something.

Hailey for the first time actually looks happy to be on her stomach! For the longest time we have been waiting for her to roll on to her tummy and about 2 weeks ago she just started doing it - but not just rolling on her tummy - she is also trying to move. She has figured out how to move around while she is on her back a little bit but again she is never really happy unless you are holding her and giving her something to gnaw on!

Cookie time

So I am trying to make sure every year we all make cookies together - ok - Ashley and me, and eventually Hailey. This year Ashley discovered it was more fun to eat the cookie dough then anything else. She did a great job decorating the cookies though. Hailey sat in her walker for the first time while we did cookies - that lasted about 10 minutes and then she realized I was not holding her.

O' Christmas tree!

I can't believe how long it took us to get our tree this year. December has just flown by! We realized that we had better go get our tree because a snow storm was coming. So on a weekday (yes we actually did something on a weekday!) we packed the girls up after dinner to go get the tree. It was perfect - I had the girls and Larry took the truck - and as I backed out of the garage - It was snowing!!! Nothing crazy - just enough to put us in the mood!!
Two nights after that we actually decorated the tree. It was a lot of fun this year. Ashley was able to help. She kept trying to put all the ornaments in the same spot - and was pretty excited about it all!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. We packed up the car - with Max and made the trip to Aunt Shari's house. Both girls did great - we were a little worried about Hailey as she doesn't travel well - she must have known it was a special day! We had great food and Ashley kept pretty close to Holden.
