Here is to many healthy months!

Thank you for all the well wishes on Hailey's ear surgery. Great news is that it went really good. The hardest part was taking my little girl into an operating room and seeing her on that big table. I am so thankful that we have such great doctors and nurses and they took such great care of her. It took her awhile to come out of it but by the afternoon she was up and playing - what a relief!! Even at daycare Juella commented on how much Hailey is singing and talking just because she can hear herself now!
The worst part is on Sunday Hailey caught a virus. We actually planned a really fun time going to Chucky Cheese just for the heck of it - we were there 10 min. and Hailey started vomiting! By the next morning both Ashley and Larry had it. It's so hard to watch your little ones get sick like that - they just don't understand. By early Tuesday I had caught it. YUCK!!
Happy to say we are all on the mend and the house has been cleaned and aired out - getting all of those yucky sicky germs out of there!

New Ears

Tomorrow morning Hailey goes in to get her tubes put in her ears. We found a great doctor who was great with her and did lot's of tests. It showed not only does she have fluid in her ears but she is hearing "muffled" sounds. I feel really bad that we waited this long to do it - but at the same time don't want to take her tomorrow. I know it's a routine surgery, blah, blah, blah - but the thought of my baby girl having actual surgery is terrifying! We go in at 6:30 am and her surgery is at 7am. Think good thoughts for her tomorrow!
