Picture Time

The other night everyone was in their pajamas and I thought it would be cute to take their picture. After several attempts and almost some tears - I gave up - and this is the best I got:

Larry and Hailey took a good picture together:

Before the nightly "put on pajama's fight" with Hailey:

Hailey's little red knee's - Since she has been crawling her little knees have been so red:

Just a couple happy picture:

Larry's 35th Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Larry on April 20th!

Yes he is becoming an old man!! We had a good Birthday weekend. Saturday we took the girls to the zoo - it was a very nice day. Sunday (the 20th) we went out to breakfast - something we haven't done in a very long time! Then around 10:30 we had Birthday cake. We went to a nice dinner that night so we had to have cake early. Whitney came over and watched Hailey while we went to dinner - she would have never lasted thru a long dinner. After dinner Larry got to open the rest of his presents which he was pretty happy with.
Hailey liked Larry's Birthday balloon - but she kept making this growling face at it!

Life Perspective

2 weeks ago a I had a friend - Tracy come visit for the night. We used to work at Ryder together and hadn't seen each other since my wedding. She lives in Virginia Beach. It was great to see her and the best part is I actually got out of the house without the kids or the husband. Larry was great and volunteered to watch the girls. We went to dinner and had some drinks - found my new favorite drink - Mojito's!! Yummy! Tracy is doing great it and it was nice to catch up.

The second part of her trip was her going to visit another friend from Ryder - Jennifer. I knew of Jennifer but we never hung out in the same groups. Jennifer is a single mom who has cancer. In 2002 when her little girl was 2, Jennifer found out she had breast cancer - she fought it and won. Then 2 years later it came back - again fought it and won. Less then a year later the cancer was back - this time it is stage 4 - all thru her body. She is fighting and Tracy says she is one of the most positive people she knows?? To be faced with such uncertainty and still be positive - this astounds me. I just can't even imagine looking at my girls and knowing that I won't see them become young women. It's sad that someone has to go thru such pain for someone else to appreciate the days they have!!

2 Front Teeth

I finally got a picture of Hailey that shows her 2 front teeth. As of now her other 4 that are trying
to come in have not yet shown up....any day now......

Off and Running...

Our house has turned into a race track at night. Hailey is crusing around (mainly following Ashley to see what she is doing). Ashley has had endless energy lately and loves to just run.

Table conversation

At dinner last night Ashley decided that she would like to tell her own story:

"So mom, guess what daddy did"

"what?"

"He locked me in his truck and then forgot about me."

hmmm. I assured her that nobody would ever forget about her - or lock her in the truck!
